NUFFNANG is in Australia! Woohoooo!
Being a Malaysian blogger living in Australia, I have been secretly jealous of this blog advertising community because they were only in the South East Asian Regions and to think I could be part of it if I still lived in Malaysia *emo*. It wasn’t about the money, advertorials, events and parties that they bloggers get to attend (although sometimes those do sound pretty fun haha), it was more about the community of bloggers.
Nuffnang is Asia Pacific’s first and leading blog advertising community that links bloggers and advertisers, creating a community and network between bloggers in Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and now AUSTRALIA. All this thanks to the entrepreneurial skills of Ming Shen Cheo and Timothy Tiah since 2006. Read about their story here.
Like I said before, the thing I like about Nuffnang is the community. It is definitely not just a blog advertising platform. What kind of community? Why duh, a blogging community – between bloggers and… more bloggers, bloggers and Nuffnang, and of course, bloggers and advertisers! Nuffnang puts in the effort to organise outings, networking sessions, affiliate programmes and sponsor blog-related and even charity events for the community.
All these sounds like fun?
Then join us at Nuffnang! Quick, click here! HERE.
Oh, and since it’s the holiday season, Nuffnang is having a Chrissie giveaway!!!
Hello?? Who doesn’t like FREE STUFF? EVERYBODY LOVES FREE STUFF.
and Raymond. heh.
So, it’s very easy, really. Let me lay it out for you eh:
- Join Nuffnang here.
- Write a post about Nuffnang (like what you’re reading right now) and be one of the lucky first 50 to win the $10 or THEE LUCKY ONE TO WIN A Dell™ Inspiron™ Mini 9.
- Err… there’s no step 3.
It’s THAT easy! Even cooking one of those microwavable lasagna things have more than 2 steps of instructions. For example:
- Take out plastic container from box.
- Use fork to puncture holes through plastic.
- Put in microwave for 8 – 10 mins.
- Let lasagne sit for a few minutes before removing plastic sheet. (Be careful, very hot!)
Ok, I totally just made up step 1 but you get my point and even without Step 1, cooking frozen lasagna is more complicated than winning $10 and a brand spanking new laptop!
Now, to the main point of this entry. WHY I WANT THE Dell™ Inspiron™ Mini 9. Ok, it’s not really the MAIN point of the post because I heart Nuffnang and it is really spreading the word about Nuffnang but I’m also quite desperate for the laptop please do not judge me kthxbye.
My sad story is that I used to have a beautiful Dell Laptop. And then it died, may it rest in peace. And since then I have been using my brother’s hand-me-down desktop which is quite old and have ‘died’ twice in the past 4 months although I managed to resurrect it and its sort of working fine now. As most of my readers know I will be travelling to the USA for my grand adventure in the States and it is quite impossible to bring the desktop with me.
So, a laptop will be nothing short of god send. Instead of heading to a BUNAC/IEP (the organisation ‘taking care’ of me while I’m overseas) office to use their computers, I will be able to blog from my room or even LIVE at say, Times Square on New Years Eve, or Mt Mammoth during snowboarding season. My friends, family and readers will be able to read about my little adventures almost right away and I dont have to worry about other IEP members finding my awkward pictures on the shared computer.
The laptop will also mean convenience for me hence the blogging will be frequent and if there is a lack of updates without notice, my friends and family can become suspicious of my wellbeing and alert Interpol or CIA or something like that to search for me – sorry a bit paranoid after the Brit Lapthorne, Aussie backpacker gone missing and later found dead incident.
ANYWAYS, my point is… join Nuffnang and our wonderful community NOW!
Amazing bloggers part of the Aussie blog community are:
1. My favourite Aussie blogger Karen Cheng – currently looking fabulously pregnant
2. My friend Loretta – who so happened graduated with a Master Degree today, congratulations girl!
3. The first Aussie blogger to write a post about Nuffnang Tina - she’s living my dream of having 5 kids LOL
This Christmas you don’t have to be nice for Santa, just be nice to Nuffnang!
