Sundays without work are the best. Sleep ins. Baking. And the dysfunctional family. Tried the new double choc cappuccino cake recipe today. Little cakes are for Pei who’s turning a year older tomorrow. For her birthday pressie this year, I guess I’m giving her diabetes.
This is my dad and Brandy, fresh from their afternoon naps, and ready for a cup of tea and cake.
I love afternoon teas with the family.

Ben: actually, they are bittersweet. i don’t really like overbearingly sweet things. and these have coffee in them so it balances the sweetness out.
